Youth Flag Football
Baldwin Youth Athletics offers spring and fall flag football for grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. Grade levels may be combined at the board's discretion to ensure each team has an adequate number of players. Through YMCA games will be played in Shawnee, Kansas. Flag practices will be held at the BHS Practice Fields t in Baldwin.
BYA also offers tackle football in the fall for grades 2nd through 8th grade.
Each player will be required to turn in an up-to-date physical to be able to participate at practice. The YMCA game schedule will be released and posted in PlayMetrics.
Flag Football Fee’s:
$145 per new player
- Registration/League Fees/Insurance
- Game Uniform (custom jersey & shorts)
Season Highlights & Awards
What better way to wrap up a great season than with a tailgate party? We celebrated our athletes by handing out MVP trophies and Bulldog Award plaques to some very deserving kids. The highlight of the spring? A hilarious fundraiser where the players got the ultimate payback: the chance to pie their coaches in the face!
Bulldog Buddy Program
Baldwin Youth Athletics proudly partners with Baldwin High School to create a unique mentoring pipeline for our youth. Our signature Bulldog Buddy program pairs each of our kids with a high school football player. The bonds go both ways: our athletes host team dinners, tailgate during BHS games, and even run out onto the field with the high school boys. In turn, BHS players step up as role models, assisting at our camps, dropping in on occasional practices, and cheering on our young athletes during their games. It's a true community partnership that inspires the next generation of Bulldogs.
